The Shadow Hunter series one episode one the mortal cup. (Netflix)(Zee Tay Review.)

Hello guys this will be first review of a Netflix episode. I will try to write how many I can of these I can. It all depend on time and WiFi.

Anyway I watched the film of the Mortal Instruments a year ago and I really enjoy the film. So I know what happened in the Netflix series. Of course the Netflix series try to keep, as close to the original books as possible, but putting their spin on it.

I truly enjoy it when you get more of the book, as it can be hard to get over 500 pages in a book to a 2 hour 10 minute film but they can for 10+, 45 minute episode.

The mortal cup introduce to the main characters, Clary, Simon, Jace, Valentine, Luke, Magnus and a few other characters. It introduce us and Clary and Simon to the world of the Shadow hunter world. Which was before hidden to the Human eye.

The one thing I don't like is how chilled Clary was the moment Simon arrived to the Church ruin. As five minute before she was asking Jace a bunch of question and scared about what's happening. Next thing she chill with he, like it normal. Like that would totally happen.

The costume was well situated at the time frame, and transition between human and ones of another planet. Shadow hunters/ Demons. As human wear more colourful clothes wear the rest wear black.

Overall I think it open up the story well and well acted overall I give it a four out of five stars.

Miss Potter (Zee Tay Film review)

Miss Potter is a enchanting love story which follows the story of the Author of them world famous Peter Rabbit Miss Beatrix Potter and her publisher Norman Warns and the love affair that happened between them.

Review:

Even though well I was growing up, and even to this day never read Peter Rabbit. Despite this it was the one story that I always wanted, and always had a special place in my heart.

I always admire authors and how they work, so seeing a film based on one of the world famous children author is very inspiration, and Renée plays Beatrix Potter wonderful she brings such confidence to the character, and that despite most people disapproval she kept on trying because she loved the world in which she creates. In a sense we just needs that one person approval to push her.

The costume was spot on something it fitted in with each character and their personality. For example Beatrix mother thought out the film she wore nothing but black, which show how she doesn't have much soul, and that she doesn't really care for her daughter only that she finds a men of high society and merry.

The story has a nice steady flow, even when there was a few flash back to when Beatrix was a child, it made sense. They placed it where needed.

Overall I give this film 4.5 stars out of 5

Plot

P.T Burnham and his father was tailor, and due this he never had much, but he dreams to have a better life. He fall in love with a girl called Charit and he promised her a life like her father.

When he father died he started working and got enough money to marry his childhood love. The got a simple place and now got two girls.

When he was made redundant he got a loan to build a museum, but despite it not getting any people, so he started a circus. But with any Circus there going to be people there to tear it down.

Review:
Three words It is beautiful. The greatest showman shows what the power of words have on people, and dispet what people say the scars make me, me and that you should be happy with how you look like. As the most important thing to remember is what in the inside.

The music will put a smile a smile on your face, or make you cry you eyes out. For example 'This is me" for me is about not just telling the world that this is me. It more about how this is me and that I should be who I am, and that people will shot bullets toward you, and just as long as we happy in our skin. Then the bullets will not hurt us.

The cast was brilliant and I can not say anything bad about the cast. Hugh Jackman as Burnham was breathtaking. Every time he started singing, I was in awe, heart racing, just memorised by his Voice.

Also Zendya, is there anything that girl can't do? I knew she can dance, and sing, but come on she was singing and basically dancing in the air. Like it not hard enough on the floor.

Bio.
Jamie is a 16 year old boy, who live on a estate in Sheffield with his supportive mum Margaret. As he getting ready for end of exam and he decided to go to his end of school prom in a dress. With the support of his mum, Auntie Ray, his best friend Pritti and Hugo he discovered who his inner Drag is and be able to live out his Dream as a drag queen and basically look fabulous at his prom.

Review:

On the 18th November I had a chance to see my favorite musical at the west end for the first time since it original run at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield.


Now as it had quite a lot of the original cast in it. I knew it was going to be outstanding. I honestly can't fault them. The new cast members was so lovely, and really talented, and who said drag can't sing wrong, as there were couple of Drags up there who have stunning voices.


With the theme of songs there are a mix of upbeat to songs that little cry yourself to sleep, quick I basically did. Mainly to Ugly in this Ugly world, which is a very powerful emotional song, which sits to close to my heart, as I been there.

One of the strong storyline is between Jamie and his mum, as she always been his rock. From a young age she saw something special in him, that nobody else could see.

All I can say go see it, it make you laugh, cry, smile and sing.

Rodger and Hammerstein's The king and I (Zee Tay film review)

Starring: Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner,  Rita Moreno, Martin Benson,  Terry Saunders, and Rex Thompson.

The King and I is set in the 19th century Siam which follows the story of a female English teacher Anna and her Son traveling to Siam to teach The King's children. It shows the relationship growing between them. But with a king who unwilling to change for the better, will Anna be able to convince him what right from wrong or will His unwillingness to change drive Anna back home to England.

This is one of the few classic I grew up watching, from a young age, and every time I watch it I always see something different in the movies.

This story now I am a 21 year old has a strong massive, that even though we are in the 21st century, there are still a few country very much like one of Siam in 1863.

Of a women in that time Anna was very brave to travel alone and entering one of which is Siam, but like the the opening song about whistling and you won't be afraid, has a great message about trying to not be afraid and face your fears.

It very educational Musical, that I totally recommend watching. The age group I would say would be 8+ as there is one scene which I feel any younger won't understand near the end.

Overall I give the movie a 5/5 stars.

Ella enchanted (Zee Tay Post)

Plot: Anne Hathaway From the princess Diaries, is Ella in the charming fairytale adventure of Ella enchanted. At birth Ella's fairy godmother gave her the gift of obedience. Which is a curse as Ella has to do what ever she been asked to do even if it bad. So she chose to set of to return then gift. This simple task turns into an amazing adventure filled with ogres, giant, wicked stepsister and the handsome princes evil uncle.

Review

Ella enchanted is a fill good movie that all the family can sit down and enjoy. There are places where you can tell that they CGI as they are not amazing, but in all fairness for a 2004 film where some CGI techniques was still new. So I guess for that year it was about average.

The overall story line was lovely about understanding how lucky we are to be able to choose in what wrong and right as there are some people in the world who not as free in doing what they want to do.

It about listening to your heart, as there are times where your heart might say something stupid but in reality you know in your mind that your heart is right.

Overall I give this film a 4/5 stars.

Footloose The Musical 2017 tour (Zee Tay)

Last Wensday I went to see Footloose at the Lyceum here in Sheffield. It an amazing story aboutr a town who banned dancing. (I know stupid right) this is based on a true story. It follows the story of Ren who just moved into town with his mum, and him trying to get back the joy and fun dancing.

Now, I know this sounds crazy but I want in not knowing anything about the show. So after hearing some classic songs especially the ones that I grown up just loving, like footloose, I can't stand still, holding out for a hero, and let's here it for the boys.

Joshua Dowan  plays the lead of Ten McCormack and he is one of the reason what make me want to go to the theatre and why I love seeing musicals live on stage. His presence on stage was amazing, as you can feel every word that he spoke and sang. There was time that I thought I was in the town of Bomont.

Dominic Gee Burch played Willard who would of played by Gareth Gates. I am grateful that it was Dominic instead. As I personally think he a better singer then he, and he was amazing portraying the awkwardness and shyness of Willard.

Gracie Lai plays the Flirty and popular character of Urleen. She was outstanding, I truly loved watching her on stage. She brings beauty, with her stunning looks, and her great personality on and off stage.

I wish I could write for all the cast but then I be here all day. So overall I give the show a full 5 out 5 stars.

Hi guys I going to write down a list of things of 5 things I going to review over the next coming year.

I'm going to see Everybody Talking about Jamie at the Apollo theatre in London, on November 18 for the 3rd time. I was lucky enough to see it twice at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield. This was before they announced that they got a theatre down in London. I was so pleased when I heard the news. 

So this review will be more about what different, but I am certain that I will love it because the cast and everybody behind ETAJ is just Fabulous!! Xxxx

I am going to review Hello Dolly now I saw this show at the curve not knowing anything about it for my 15th birthday present. Unknowingly that it was a film and it took me over 5 nearly 6 to get it on DVD.

Hairspray is one of my favorite musical it upbeat and "you can't stop the beat" or you most be "Without Love" for musical. Also there a songs that sums me up well not to a t because I'm not beautiful, and you guessed it. It is "Big, blonde and beautiful." I am not the beautiful part.

Merlin number 4 is like my favorite I can watch Merlin all day but there isn't enough hours in the day to do that.

Descendants 2 is the latest Disney movie by Kenny the same director of the High school musical films and was director of the "this is it" tour before the tragic death of Michael Jackson. I enjoyed watching the first descendants.

Review:

When I watched this I didn't know what to expect, because I didn't see the trailers, nor see any of the reviews. So I didn't know what it was about. I thought that I might enjoy it as it has some well known actresses. 

I was truly enjoy it, even though it was kinda of dark in topic, it was funny, and that something, as it not like me to enjoy comedy. 

It was surprising how Lucia and Paul manager to create a comedy film about some people accidentally killing somebody, and then basically becoming heroes. 

However I have to give it a warning it contains, strong language, sex reference, and drug misuse.

Walking on Sunshine (zee tay review)

Plot:

When Maddie brought her sister Taylor to Apulia in Italy after she advice her into go there 5 weeks earlier after one of her worse breaks up with Dough. She thought that she going to relax and great no man. To be surprised at the fact that her sister brought her over because she was getting married to Taylor old flame Raf. Will there still be a spark or will this be no "holiday"?

Review:

Walking on Sunshine is one of those feels good movies that is cheesy but a good cheesy. Out of all the jukebox musical there is on film. This is among my favorite as most the cast can sing.

However Giulio Berruti, he can just can carry a tone, I think the mainly got him, because of his Italian looks, he looks amazing, and his Italian, I assume it is but how can I tell. I'm not Italian or speak it.

Dispute this one slight let down, I really like the songs they choose as it helped to bring the story along and all the songs are well known, so all ages are able to sing along to " girls just want to have fun" to "wake me up before you go-go"

My favorite character is Tiziana, as she seems grumpy at first, but at the movie goes on, the more wild she gets, till one shot in "white wedding" where she was on the beach with two man laying down... Well you can fill in the rest.

My top five favorite movies (zee tay)

Here is a list of my favorite top five favorite movies.

1. Nim's islands
    now this movie haven't had that much covering and that maybe why not many people know about this movie. To sum it up as bast I can, it about a young girl call Nim and her father who when Nim's mother died they want looking for her but instead found a Island that wasn't inhabited by humans but was livable. So they moved there. One day her father left Nim for a couple of nights, in this time Nim befriended a writer called Alex Rover in this time her father never returned when he should, so Nim contacted Alex as the writer was the only other Human Nim know....
2. My second favorite is The secret of Moonacre which at the same time isn't a well known film, it not because it was a rubbish cast. It was down to it being really cheesy, .
3. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is !y third favorite, the !ain reason is because David Tennant, is in the film, and he was and still is my favorite Doctor in the British TV show Doctor Who.
   
4. Bride and Prejudice is a Bollywood take on the classic story of Pride and Prejudice. It funny, colourful and a musical, all the main item to make a Bollywood film, as well a hint of drag queen in there in the musical number "you brought a marriage into town."
5. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney classic as in same way I see my self in Belle. I love books and I don't judge people by what is on the outside. It about two people falling in love as they got to know each other.
