Tuesday 15 August 2017

There are a lot of movies by Disney that are going to be released over the next few years and below are the one's i'm really looking forward to. This includes Marvel Movies.

Some may lap over from my previous post about movies before the end of 2017.

1.Thor: Ragnarok
Release Date: 27th October 2017 (UK)

So this is the third and possibly final Thor film.
It takes place before Avengers: Infinity War.  It looks really good but there appear to be funny moments included.

I also remember reading that Doctor Strange will have a Cameo in this film. Obviously we know that Bruce Banner/ Hulk will be in the film as well.

Obviously he will be without the famous hairstyle and weapons and with Cate Blanchett as the Villian this will be one interesting film.

2.Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Release Date: 15th December 2017

So we have had to wait 2 years for the follow-up to The Force Awakens, i'm sure it will be worth the wait.

The only sad thing is that Carrie Fisher will not appear in the follow-up to this film after her sad death last year

After watching Teaser Trailer for this I have been slowly getting more and more excited.

Roll on Christmas time.

3. Black Panther
Release Date: 16th February 2018

So From what i've seen and heard, this film will be really good. It has a few names in it that a recognise Such as Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o and Forest Whittaker.

I'm hoping for good things after the stint he had in Captain America: Civil War.

4.  A Wrinkle in Time
Release Date: 9th March 2018

So I don't know an awful lot about this film, but I know it has an all-star cast. From Oprah Winfrey to Reese Witherspoon. It also stars Chris Pine and Mindy Kaling.

This is the Premise:

This film is one that I am so looking forward to. I remember watching the first Avengers Film and thinking it was brilliant. I am more than ready for this one.

Here is the Premise:

6. Star Wars: Han Solo
Release Date: 25th May 2018

There isn't alot known about this film yet. The title is self-explanatory so, we know who it is about though.

It has quite a few well-known names in this film: Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrleson and Thandi Newton.

Here is the Premise:
Themed as a space Western, the film is centered on a young Han Solo, the roguish smuggler who later meets Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker in the Mos Eisley Cantina in Star Wars (1977), and his adventures with his Wookiee partner Chewbacca, including their encounter with Lando Calrissian.

7. The Incredibles 2
Release Date: 15th June 2018

So I can't even remember how long it's been since the first one was released, but I seriously cannot wait for this film! Ok so I just looked it up and it is about 14 years (2004).

This film is supposed to carry on from the last one. I'll have to make sure I've watched the first one again before I go and see it.

Here is the synopsis on the movie:
The Incredibles 2 follows the adventures of the Parrs, a family of Supers (humans with super abilities). The Parrs include the father, Bob, also known as Mr. Incredible who possesses super strength, Helen, his wife also known as Elastigirl for the ability to stretch her body, and their children Violet, who can become invisible and project force fields, Dash, who possesses super speed, and Jack-Jack, their infant who can transform into a number of forms. The sequel will start "a minute" after the end of the first film, according to Pixar's chief creative officer John Lasseter, where the Parrs are just about to face the Underminer.

8. Ant-Man & The Wasp
Release Date: 6th July 2018

After watching the first film, I am really looking forward to how this film goes. With Michelle Pfeiffer joining the cast as Janet Van Dyne. This should be one brilliant film.

Here is the Premise:
Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, when Hope van Dyne and Hank Pym present him with a new mission, requiring him to team up with van Dyne as the Wasp.

9. Captain Marvel
Release Date: 8th March 2019 (UK)

There is no current Plot for this film but hey it's got to be good it's Marvel's first Female Superhero movie. I'm a little bummed that we have to wait till 2019 but hopefully it will be worth the wait.

We know that Brie Larson was cast in the main role and that it is rumoured to be set in the 1990's.

10. Mulan
Release Date: 20th December 2019

I don't know alot about the live action version of this film. But I hope it is brilliant as I love Mulan. It is one of my favourite Disney films.

Here is a very basic summary of what the movie is about
A young Chinese maiden disguises herself as a warrior in order to save her father.

I sadly couldn't post them all but these are my current 10.

Are there any I haven't put down that you are looking forward to by Disney?
